Terms of service

Last updated · June 18, 2026

These terms govern your use of SalahClock (the “Service”), operated by MD. Mezbibur Rahman Khan, a sole proprietor trading as SalahClock, based in Bangladesh (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, opening a public clock URL, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

1. The Service

SalahClock provides a web-based prayer-time display for mosques, schools, and homes. The Service includes the website at salahclock.app, the dashboard, the public clock URLs, and any associated APIs.

2. Your account

  • You’re responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure.
  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to create an account.
  • Don’t share login credentials. Use the team / multi-admin features (where available) instead.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to publish content that’s unlawful, hateful, or deceptive.
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute SalahClock’s code, themes, or UI without permission.
  • Attempt to break, overload, or probe the security of the Service beyond responsible disclosure.
  • Use the Service to impersonate a mosque or organisation you don’t represent.

4. Content you publish

Clock names, announcements, custom prayer labels, and similar content are yours. By posting them on a public clock URL you give us a non-exclusive license to display them as part of the Service. You confirm you have the right to publish what you publish.

5. Plans, payment, and changes

  • Free plan features may change over time. We’ll give reasonable notice before reducing them.
  • Paid plans renew automatically. You can cancel anytime from the dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Prices may change. Existing paid subscriptions will be honoured at their current price until the next renewal after notice.
  • Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Payments are processed by our authorized payment provider and Merchant of Record. The Merchant of Record is responsible for securely processing payments, collecting applicable taxes, and issuing invoices or receipts, as well as billing-related customer support.

6. Termination

You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these terms — usually after notice and a chance to fix the issue.

7. Disclaimer

Prayer times are calculated from established methods using the coordinates you provide. SalahClock is provided “as is” without warranty. We make no guarantee that displayed times are free of error — your mosque’s posted Iqamah remains the authoritative source.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalahClock and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

9. Changes to these terms

We’ll update the “last updated” date when we make material changes and email account holders when changes affect their rights. Continued use after the effective date counts as acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts of Bangladesh shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Service.

11. Contact
