Refund & cancellation policy
This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for SalahClock paid plans. It applies to all subscriptions purchased through the Service.
1. Merchant of record
Payments are processed by our authorized payment provider and Merchant of Record. The Merchant of Record is responsible for securely processing payments, collecting applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax), and issuing invoices or receipts. Applicable taxes may be calculated and collected by our Merchant of Record based on your location.
2. Free trials
- Plus and Pro are offered with a 14-day free trial, available once per account. New accounts are offered the trial at checkout; an account that has already trialled, or that has held a paid subscription before, is charged in the normal way.
- A valid payment card is required to start a trial. Your card is verified by our payment provider at checkout but no charge is taken on that day. Every feature of the plan is unlocked immediately.
- The trial converts automatically. When the 14 days end, the plan’s regular price for the billing interval you chose is charged to that card, and the subscription continues on its normal renewal schedule. There is nothing you need to do to continue.
- Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. Cancel any time during the trial from your dashboard under Billing, or by emailing us. Your account returns to the free plan when the trial period expires; your clocks and data are not deleted.
- The date your trial ends and the amount that will be charged are shown on your billing page for the whole of the trial.
3. Subscriptions and renewals
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you choose) by our payment provider.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- The price and billing interval shown at checkout is the price you pay. We’ll give reasonable notice before any price change, and existing subscriptions are honoured at their current price until the next renewal after that notice.
4. Cancelling your subscription
- You can cancel at any time from your dashboard under Billing, or by emailing us.
- Cancellation stops future renewals. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then drops to the free plan — your clocks and data are not deleted.
- We do not charge a cancellation fee.
5. Refunds
- 30-day money-back guarantee — no questions asked. If you’re not happy with a paid plan for any reason, email us within 30 days of your initial purchase and we’ll refund that payment in full.
- Renewals. You can cancel anytime before a renewal to avoid being charged. If a renewal caught you by surprise, get in touch — we’ll always try to put it right.
- Service failure. If the Service was unavailable or materially not as described for a sustained period, contact us and we will make it right, which may include a pro-rated refund.
- If a refund is approved, it will be processed through our payment provider using the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer.
6. How to request a refund or cancellation
Email hello@salahclock.app with the email address on your account and your order or invoice number (included in the receipt issued by our Merchant of Record). Refund requests should be submitted to our support team, and if approved will be processed through our payment provider using the original payment method. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
