AI assistants

Run your prayer display by asking

Connect SalahClock to Claude or ChatGPT and change what your screens show in a sentence. No new app, nothing installed on your displays.

Paste this into your assistant’s connector settings. Step-by-step for each app.

01

What it looks like

Not a settings panel with a chat box bolted on. You say what you want; it happens on the screen in the prayer hall.

What time is Fajr tomorrow?

Fajr is at 05:15, with iqamah at 05:40. That’s a time you set manually rather than the calculated one.

Times come back in the mosque's own timezone — asking from another country still shows what the congregation sees.

Move Isha iqamah to 20 minutes after the adhan.

Updated iqamah offsets for Al-Noor Community Masjid: Isha +20 min.

It asks before changing anything. Your other prayers keep their offsets — nothing else moves.

Put up an announcement about Friday's fundraiser.

Al-Noor Community Masjid now shows: “Friday fundraiser after Jumu’ah — all welcome.”

The banner is on every screen showing that clock within seconds.

Are all my displays still online?

Two screens on Al-Noor Community Masjid. The Chromebook in the main hall is online; the foyer screen was last seen 3 hours ago.

Worth knowing before Maghrib, not after someone tells you the screen is dark.

You decide what it can touch

Handing an AI the keys to a prayer hall display is a real decision. So the answer isn't 'trust us' — it's that you set the limits, and some doors don't open at all.

Read-only, if you want

Choose “Look, but don't touch” when you connect and every settings tool refuses. Useful when you only want quick answers about times.

Only the clocks you pick

Running five mosques? Grant one. The rest stay invisible — the assistant cannot even list them.

Cut it off in one click

Account → Connected AI assistants → Disconnect. Access stops immediately, and we email you whenever something connects.

Doors that never open

Whatever you authorize, an assistant can never delete a clock, touch billing, reach your account settings, export your data, or read your display passcode. Deleting is a one-way door and stays a human decision.

04

What it can change

Everything on the settings screens you already use — reachable in a sentence instead of six taps.

Prayer times

Calculation method, madhab, iqamah offsets per prayer, fixed times, and the Hijri adjustment.

Announcements

Put a banner up, change it, take it down. It reaches every screen showing that clock.

Jumu'ah

Whether Jumu'ah replaces Dhuhr, the greeting screen, and the khutbah silence window.

Adhan audio

Turn it on, pick a muezzin, set the volume, or stay silent for particular prayers.

How it looks

Theme, screen rotation for vertical TVs, seconds, the Hijri date, Arabic names, and the overnight sleep schedule.

Language & labels

Display language, numeral system, and custom names for individual prayers.

Try it on today’s times

Connect it, then ask what time Maghrib is. If that works, everything else does.
